Case Law Update – Application of the Lugano Convention after Brexit
As a result of the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the EU, new questions arise in cross-border law enforcement regarding the temporal scope of application of the important Lugano Convention. A recently published decision of the Swiss Federal Supreme Court answers some of these questions, which is why we have analysed the current case law with regard to the recognition and enforcement of English judgments in Switzerland in more detail and summarised the current status for you.
