Zurich’s new sports and events venue to be named Swiss Life Arena

Zurich’s new sports and events venue, a multi-purpose arena with a capacity for 12,000 visitors, and home of Zurich’s National League ice hockey team ZSC Lions, will be named Swiss Life Arena. Officials of both Swiss Life and ZSC Lions have celebrated this milestone on 16 September 2021 on the construction site at Zurich Altstetten. The grand opening of the Swiss Life Arena is scheduled to take place in August 2022.
